CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT IN UNDERGRADUATE UNIVERSITY STUDY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING (2011/2012)
To enrol in Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering candidates must have successfully completed a four-year long secondary school programme and passed the School-Leaving Examination („Državna matura“).
Applicants for the enrolment in Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering are selected according to the credits obtained on the basis of:
- the evaluation of secondary school education achievement
- the evaluation of the School Leaving Examination results
The evaluation of secondary school education achievement is carried out on the basis of a grade point average for all four years of secondary school.
The evaluation of the School Leaving Examination results
Enrolment in Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering implies having passed the lower level, i.e. the compulsory subjects of the School Leaving Examination. The compulsory subjects of the School Leaving Examination are: Croatian, Mathematics, and a Foreign Language. The elective subject of the School Leaving Examination is Physics, which, if taken and passed, provides additional credits.

All candidates who have taken any of the top three places in state competitions in Mathematics or Physics during their secondary school education are allowed direct enrolment in Undergraduate Univeristy Study of Civil Engineering.
IMPLEMANTATION OF THE APPLICATION, CLASSIFICATION AND ENROLMENT
All applicants can apply via the National Information System of Application for Admission to Institutions of Higher Learnig (NISpVU). A detailed application procedure for Study Programmes will be described in a brochure which will be obtainable in schools and at www.postani-student.hr and www.studij.hr.
Additional information will be announced on the notice board of the Faculty and at www.gradst.hr
In academic year 2011/2012 80 full-time students will enrol in the first year of Undergraduate University Study of Civil Engineering with financial support from the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
Detailed instructions on the enrolment of the applicants who have the right for such an enrolment according to the final rank list will be obtainable in the student office, in the secretary's office, and on the website of the Faculty.
